Breakdown
Mario Party 2 (N64)

Mario Party 2 is better than the original Mario party, because of graphics fixes, ect... also because your character becomes part of the world he or she's in, ex: pirate world, you characters will dress up like pirates (toad gets in a float that look like a little boat) and on the last 5 turns if 2 players land on the same space they duel with swords, there are many mini games, they are quite fun and challenging. This is fun for all ages!

Graphics 8 out of 10

Graphics aren't bad, but still need inprovement on the characters when you over view the board, they look a bit blurry, oh well, they still look good. but the cinitmatics are OK, they have nice shadowing ect... also, the games graphics are nice too, some of the games are kind of silly, but you can check that out in the games part of the review. The worlds graphics are also done well, as for the options menu. The items are also nicely done, but what can I say, all they are only little pictures.

Music and Sound 9 out of 10

Music was ok, better than the graphics, it but Toad's voice is kind of annoying. Most of the characters (I think all) kept their sounds and other stuff. The music is better, different lands, different music. Also the game's intro music fits the game itself.
Game Challenge
You can set the COMP on easy normal, or hard, for beginners (to Mario party, if you played the original Mario party, it's much easier to understand) I suggest you read the instructions, or go into the game and go to "rules land".

Game Play-Fun 9 out of 10

This is pretty fun since it has many mini games and it randomizes it just like the original Mario party, but you have more games. Also the battle games are more fun than the others because you win other people's coins. Not only are there more games but the game can be more challenging because Bowser can steal all your coins on a few maps (he comes out and acts like a player for one turn except he steals any one's coins who he passes)

Frustration
Some times the game can get frustrating when some one steals your coins or even your star but it's not all that bad because you can steal it back when you get to boo, but it's really annoying when Bowser takes all your coins. Although this game can be adjusted to your skill level it can get frustrating some times.

Replayability 9 out of 10

Because of the many mini games, it will never get old. This game is great for parties like the name suggests. with 4 characters playing at the same time it's fun for every one. This game can be played until the end of time.

Game Value 9 out of 10

I bought this game for $50 but it was worth it, it's a great game and I assure you if you buy it you'll get your moneys worth, if not more.

Mini Games 9 out of 10

The many games in here are fun and you won't get a sore thumb form just one, they too out the thumb busters (the games that make your thumb sore) and they kept some of the good ones and modified some and made some new ones, but they put a dumb one in, it's really goofy, it's called "Look away" you have to look a different direction than the person up top (a 3 v 1 game) anyway, that's the only "dumb mini game" there are tons of fun things to do in this game.

Overall 9 out of 10

This game is great and much more fun than the original Mario party, although the graphics need work, toad needs a better voice and there's one dumb mini game (1 out of 1000, which you have a 1% chance of getting) the game's great, it's worth $49.99 there are many things to do in this game, and it never stops, so it never gets boring, I suggest you buy this great game right away.
