I picked up three progressive metal CDs last week in a swap for a couple of the Aragon CDs I disliked so much. This one is patchy at best. Terrible vocals on about half of the tracks (the guy sounds like some sort of trachiatomy patient) tempered with some fine guitar work and nice atmospheric keyboard noodling. Heavy without going overboard, with the exception of the vocals on some tracks. "Do You Dream of Me?", the eighth song, is brilliant, and leads to a more successful conclusion of the album.
