** Howlin' Wolf -- Live In Cambridge, MA., 1966

I've always liked the Chicago Blues, even going so far as to hang out at Rush Street blues joints late into the evening. However, with a few exceptions, the really great blues legends have gone to that great blues joint in the sky, and all we have left is records such as this. Sadly, it is recorded so badly that it's almost painful to listen to, and not because it's the blues :-). It's too bad that while we have crystal clear versions of Elvis Presley movie tunes and Beatles concerts in the same era, great stuff like this sounds like it was recorded with a microphone hidden in somebody's beard.
